Aderonke is an experienced Finance professional with about a decade and a half year of expertise in multi-industry and multi-cultural environments. Her career has spanned various roles, including Audit Manager, Financial Controller, Finance Manager, and VP of Accounts.

Her Finance experience cuts across multiple sectors including Insurance, Telecommunications, Consulting, Oil & Gas, Renewable Energy, Technology, and FMCG, where she has contributed in various capacities to recommend and implement business improvement strategies in challenging situations such as economic recessions, limited resources, and system integration. She brings this wealth of experience to bear in her new role at Midwestern Oil and Gas and its subsidiaries.

Aderonke holds a first degree in accounting from the University of Lagos, Lagos State, and a master’s Certificate in Finance and Investment, from the Ahmadu Bello University, Kaduna State. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) with demonstrated practical expertise in financial management and internal audit. She is also a member of The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA).

Before joining Midwestern, Aderonke held various leadership roles in Finance and Consulting with reputable organizations including PwC, EY, Mphrama, and most recently as the CFO at Eleva Group where she was responsible for outstanding top- and bottom-line outcomes by setting and accomplishing long, medium, and short-term financial goals.

As a seasoned financial expert, Aderonke has been recognised with scholarships and awards for her sterling academic and professional performance by the following prestigious organizations: Shell Nigeria University Scholarship Awards, NNPC/CNL National University Scholarship Awards, Inclusion in Dean’s Honour List, Nestle Milo Friendly School Mathematics Champion, etc.
