The atmosphere at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre (BATICC), the venue for the 2025 NOG Energy Week 2025 was electric and full of excitement as Midwestern, Mart & UPIL stood tall among Africa’s most influential energy players, making a powerful statement of Presence, Purpose, and Progress.
Held in the nation’s capital, the annual NOG Energy Week convened top-tier government officials, global energy stakeholders, innovators, and investors to shape the conversation around energy transition, sustainability, and industry collaboration. For MWOG and its affiliates, it was more than just another industry event, it was an opportunity to demonstrate leadership, drive strategic engagement, and reinforce our commitment to powering Nigeria’s energy future.
At the heart of Midwestern’s participation was Tari Akhibi, General Manager, HR & Corporate Services, who led the company’s delegation through a series of high-level engagements and impactful interactions. From visiting key exhibition booths to connecting with partners and industry thought leaders, Midwestern was fully embedded in the energy dialogue.

The team’s presence coincided with visits from senior government officials, including the Minister of Petroleum Resources (Oil), H.E Senator Heineken Lokpobiri, and the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Gas), H.E RT Hon. Ekperikpe Ekpo, underscoring the importance of public-private collaboration in shaping the future of Nigeria’s oil and gas industry.
As the energy industry navigates a complex global transition, Midwestern is stepping forward, not just as a participant, but as a driver of change. NOG Energy Week 2025 reaffirmed our position as a resilient and responsible operator, dedicated to creating sustainable energy solutions that power growth and progress.
