Our CSR initiatives are designed to contribute to the economic development of the host communities as well as improving their quality of life. A major challenge in the Niger Delta is inadequate infrastructural development which should provide communities with the quality of living that everyone deserves. In response, Midwestern has successfully implemented projects in the host communities to alleviate the conditions.
In line with globally recognized standards, we have implemented CSR initiatives in the following areas of education, healthcare delivery, electricity, infrastructural development, economic empowerment and youth development. Projects implemented include the construction of roads, boreholes, community buildings, classroom blocks and a fully furnished 20-bed amenity ward. In addition, we have executed power-related projects and in support of culture, we have implemented the Owesse Lake re-channelization project to revive an abandoned fishing festival.
