Midwestern Oil & Gas Company Limited and its Joint Venture (JV) partner, SunTrust Atlantic Energies Limited has successfully concluded the 2026/2027 Scholarship Examination for both Secondary School and University categories, reaffirming its commitment to educational advancement and youth empowerment.
The examination, which was conducted in its host community Kwale and across Delta State, attracted participation from students seeking educational support through the Midwestern JV Scholarship Programme.
The exercise forms part of the organization’s long-standing investment in education as a catalyst for individual empowerment, academic excellence, and sustainable community development.
The scholarship programme recorded over 2,000 applications from across the state, with 456 students progressing through the screening stage to participate in the examination process. The significant level of interest highlights the growing demand for educational opportunities and the continued impact of the initiative among young people across Delta State.
The examination was conducted under carefully coordinated conditions to ensure transparency, fairness, and equal opportunity for all eligible candidates.
For many participants, the scholarship programme represents more than financial support; it serves as an opportunity to pursue academic aspirations and unlock future possibilities through education.
