As part of its continued efforts aimed at promoting harmonious relationships with its host communities and strengthening stakeholder engagement, the Management of Midwestern Oil & Gas Company Limited, led by the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Engr. (Mrs.) Elozino Olaniyan, FNSE FNSChE FNISafetyE recently paid a courtesy visit to His Royal Majesty, (HRM) Isaac Obi, the Oduosa of Utagba-Ogbe Kingdom.
The visit underscored Midwestern’s respect for traditional institutions and reaffirmed the Company’s dedication to maintaining a strong, mutually beneficial partnership with its host communities through continuous dialogue, collaboration, and shared development objectives.
During the engagement, the Management team briefed His Royal Majesty on the Company’s ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives and community development programmes being implemented within the Kingdom. Discussions focused on Midwestern’s efforts to contribute meaningfully to the socio-economic development of its host communities through investments in education, healthcare, infrastructure, capacity building, and other community-focused interventions.
The visit also provided an opportunity for constructive dialogue on matters of mutual interest, as both parties reaffirmed the importance of sustained collaboration in promoting peace, development, and shared prosperity within the community.
