Commissioning of 500M Emmanuel Ogbeh Street in Umusadege Community
As part of our commitment to infrastructure development, Midwestern/SunTrust JV successfully commissioned the 500-meter Emmanuel Ogbeh Street in Umusadege Community. This project, which includes two side drainages, was undertaken to improve transportation access, enhance road safety, and mitigate flooding issues in the community.
Prior to the project, residents faced significant challenges due to poor road conditions, which affected mobility, local businesses, and overall economic activities. With the completion of the road, transportation has become smoother, allowing for better connectivity between residential areas and commercial centres. The side drainage system helps to prevent waterlogging and erosion, which had previously been a recurring issue during the rainy season.
The commissioning of Emmanuel Ogbeh Street stands as a testament to Midwestern’s dedication to fostering sustainable development in its host communities. By investing in critical infrastructure, the company not only enhances the quality of life for residents but also supports local businesses and facilitates economic growth.
