MWOG JV Successfully Concludes 2025/26 Scholarship Examination for Tertiary & Secondary School Students

The 2025/2026 session of the Midwestern JV Scholarship Examination has been successfully completed, marking another milestone in the company’s effort to support academic excellence and build intellectual capacity in its host communities.

This year’s exercise attracted wide participation from students in both secondary schools and tertiary institutions, all of whom sat for competitive assessments aimed at evaluating their academic strength, logical reasoning, and potential for long-term academic success. Testing centres were established in strategic locations within our host communities in Delta State to ensure accessibility and a seamless process for all candidates.

Midwestern continues to demonstrate its belief in education as a powerful tool for long-term community development. The scholarship examination was designed to reward hard work, open-up learning opportunities, and reduce the financial strain on families striving to give their children a better future.

The company’s CSR team emphasized the value of early support in shaping future professionals, noting that previous scholarship recipients have gone on to achieve excellence in various fields.

“This initiative represents our ongoing commitment to helping students dream bigger, aim higher, and contribute meaningfully to society,” Love Uju Uchegbu, Manager, CSR shared.

Strict supervision and standardized examination procedures were applied across all centres to ensure transparency and merit-based selection. Every step of the process was conducted with integrity, reinforcing Midwestern’s reputation for accountability and fairness in community-focused initiatives.

Beyond financial support, the programme reflects the company’s belief in nurturing talent from the ground up and ensuring that no deserving student is left behind due to economic challenges.

Shortlisted candidates will be notified following the completion of grading and verification processes. Successful applicants will receive funding support for tuition and other academic-related expenses, subject to maintaining satisfactory academic performance.

Midwestern extends appreciation to the educators, community leaders, invigilators, and local stakeholders who contributed to the smooth execution of the exercise.
