Mr. Kayode Olatunbosun is a seasoned finance professional whose career began in KPMG’s transactions and restructuring practice, where he contributed to diverse financial advisory engagements across various sectors.

After his tenure at KPMG, he joined the corporate finance division of Oando PLC, playing a pivotal role in equity and debt fundraises exceeding US$2 billion and in executing corporate restructuring and M&A transactions with a combined deal value of approximately US$2.5 billion.

Thereafter, Kayode assumed the role of Head of Mergers & Acquisitions and Capital Markets at Coronation Merchant Bank, where he led capital markets and M&A initiatives totalling over US$700 million. He also served as Corporate Finance Manager at Lekoil, an Africa-focused oil and gas company listed on the AIM segment of the London Stock Exchange.

Prior to joining Midwestern Oil and Gas, he was the CFO of First Hydrocarbon Nigeria for more than six years, during which he orchestrated the company’s turnaround and repositioning towards profitability.

Kayode holds a BSc in Actuarial Science from the University of Lagos, Nigeria, and earned an MBA with distinction from Said Business School, University of Oxford. He is a CFA Charterholder, a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN).
