Marcus Atatigho Amuche is the Asset Manager of Midwestern Oil & Gas Company Limited.  

He holds a Higher National Diploma, Post Graduate Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the prestigious Petroleum Training Institute Effurun and a Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) in Business Administration from Delta State University, Abraka 

His education qualification encompasses HND, PGD Mech Engr, MSc. Mech Engr. (in View). graduated with Higher National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from the prestigious Petroleum Training Institute Effurun in 1993 and Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) in Business Administration from Delta State University Abraka in 2006.  

Marcus is a rotating equipment expert with over 25years experience in the upstream sector of oil and gas industry in Nigeria.  

His career begun as a Rotating Equipment Trainee at Negris Nigeria Limited, seconded to Chevron Nig Ltd in Escravos. Having spent three years offshore of Chevron South Water Injection (SIP) platform on operation and maintenance of Saturn and Ruston turbines, Cat driven generators, single and multi-stage pumps, he was promoted to the position of Maintenance lead.  

He later joined Elper Oilfield Services as a Turbine Specialist, seconded to Texaco Overseas in offshore Funuwa production Platform, delivering on equipment uptime through effective Maintenance Strategy in-line with Company Policies and Procedures. 

He gained employment into Conoil Producing Limited as a Maintenance Lead and participated in the commissioning of an offshore shallow water jack-up production platform in Otuo field offshore Bayelsa State with production capacity of 40kbd. 

He has worked in various capacities in Midwestern Oil & Gas Company Limited as Maintenance Specialist, Maintenance Supervisor, and Field Superintendent. During these years, he contributed immensely to the growth of the Company Maintenance equipment uptime and effective field management in achieving production targets. 

He is a Member, Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) and Member, Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM). 

He has been a recipient of MWOG best toolbox attendee for 3 years consecutively; Best recipient of Maintenance Staff of the year and Recipient of Safety Reporting Program (SRP) Award of the year. 

Marcus Amuche is married and blessed with Children.  

His hobbies include listening to liberation songs, Reggae lyrics and Afro-beats, reading motivational books and current affairs.
